Ghandruk offers a very close view of the Annapurna and the view during sunset and sunrise is fantastic. The Gurung village still preserves the traditional houses with stone roofs.

Trek from Naya pool to Ghandruk. Night stay at Ghandruk. Leave Pokhara early in the morning by Jeep to Naya Poolorto Phedi, from Phedi we take a path steeply up the hill to our right towards Dhampus. Walking a long this ridge gives fantastic views of Annapurna, Manaslu. If we go to Birethati, we urnright after crossing the river(Modi) and aim to reach Ghandruk about 4-5 hour steep hill trail.Where there are good views of Machhapuchre (Fishtail) and Annapurna South for our right stop in this pretty village.

It’s market day in Lausanne! Enjoy browsing and packing a picnic lunch for our 11 a.m. boat cruise on Lake Geneva. A few miles down-shore we’ll dock at Château de Chillon, where we’ll have a guided tour of this delightfully medieval castle on the water. On our way back we’ll take time to peek into the vineyards surrounding Lutry before returning to Lausanne. Boat: 2 hrs. Bus: 1 hr. Walking: moderate.
