Trishuli River is one the most popular, if not the favorite, of Nepal’s raft able rivers. Due to its proximity to Kathmandu and the easy road access which accompanies it. For first time rafter and family with child and old people rafter, if offers plenty of excitement. Many choose to incorporate a ride down the Trishuli with either a trip to Pokhara or to Royal Chitwan National Park Jungle Safari tours.
A river is most popular with remarkable gorges, some exhilarating rapids some easier sections and easily accessible from Kathmandu. Recommended for intermediate rafter and those who have limited time and would like to have a family trip.
Reporting time is approx. 06.00 at our office. Once everyone is collected proceed for a short walk to our bus. The bus ride takes us out of the Kathmandu valley thought the scenic view of mountain and rice fields. After two hours we reach in the village of Baireni on the bank of the Trisuli River. When we reach in starting point we prepare everything and give you everyone life jacket, helmet, paddle. Then the trip leader and safety KAYAKER brief information about river safety, paddling technique and another safety method. Then we start the rafting trip.The first day provides about four and half hours rafting. On the way you can meet different kinds of 3-4 classes’ rapids. On the middle we stop for lunch, after lunch we do continue until Charaudi which is our campsite. Overnight at camping.
In the morning at around at 08.30 every one packs their gear and come to breakfast. After breakfast our guide and safety KAYAKER give you another paddle session to refresh every one’s memory. This is probably just as well as today we have another four and half hours on the water and we get to run the main canyon section of the Trisuli. In this day you can run main rapids, like Ladies Delight, Upset and Surprise which is most exciting and challenging. Depending on the time we stop to have lunch. After lunch continue until finishing point Gaighat. From here it’s a four hours bus ride back to Kathmandu or Pokhara. From here also you can go Chitwan for Wildlife Safaris.
